					<description><![CDATA[Excuse me, but TRUNKSTER is a SCAM. I&#039;m one of the backers on Indiegogo, paid 690 dollars and they promised to give me a carry-on AND a checked luggage. I paid Oct 2015, they promised the goods January 2016. I got the carry-on June 2016, yes it was delayed but they were at least updating the backers. Now for the checked luggage, I&#039;ve emailed them numerous times since June 2016, their LAST reply was OCT 2016. They said they&#039;re finishing up something blah blah. I emailed them FEB 2017 because there was no update since OCT 2016, guess what? THEY DID NOT REPLY. THERE ARE NO UPDATES ON EITHER INDIEGOGO OR KICKSTARTER. I still gave them a chance and hoped for some sort of reply or update. It&#039;s been a year since their last update so I just called my bank and reported them as FRAUD.]]></description>

&quot;We wanted to provide a progress update. We spent the month of May working through some of the issues that recently arose. Some of the tooling fees were much higher than anticipated, and we wanted to ensure everyone was notified about the engineering updates that have been made to date. 
As a result, some of our team traveled to China to meet with our manufacturer to discuss these engineering changes, review the updated files in person and discuss possibilities for reducing the cost of tooling. Fortunately, we did find some opportunities to help save on cost and expedite production. 
We spent a considerable amount of time with our partners in Shenzhen, China working to find a resolution to some of the cost prohibitive challenges that have arisen. We have recently returned to the US and will be having a more in-depth meeting across all members of the Traxpack team this week. We will all decide together the best course of action, with all angles in consideration, based on the feedback received during our review in China. 
Overall, we are headed in a positive direction. Currently, our next step is to finalize tooling. Once we have a meeting and decide on a direction, tooling will be the next step before moving to production. The delay has been longer than we expected. However, we are doing our absolute best to bring our backers a high-quality product while also working to create a product that isn&#039;t cost prohibitive to produce in which we can build a long-term business. 
We are so grateful to our backers both for helping us get Traxpack to this point as well as for your patience and understanding throughout the product development process. This has been a tremendous learning experience for us, and we are happy to say we are nearing the finish line and are very excited to present to you with a final product in the very near future. 
We hope our next update will be a detailed timeline for production. We will be sure to have this to you as soon as we move to the tooling stage soon. As we have experienced these small setbacks, the previous timeline has been shifted. We expect to finish by November and to have the product ship by December at the earliest.

We are taking pre-orders that are closing soon but might reopen from recent availability in our roster. Our message was posted on all social media and was geared to inform anyone interested in the product, whether they have already purchase or not, and those who support our company. While we are working to make the website and our social media more informative than it already is, we have stated that the product is available for preorder in multiple places. We have not done a press release nor an update to notify the general public that we are manufacturing and shipping because we have ran into a few delays. We are being transparent with our operations because of the delays we have experienced.

Also, we have not asked any publication to feature us. The publications do their own research without our PR team. We are not trying to creative any illusions. For clarification, we have read through this article, and we have found that they did not give any false information.
