I have the Moov and it has many things going for it but the cons, at least for me are.
1. Claims to upload data to Strava but won't upload swim data or Strava won't accept it. Nether Moov nor Strava has commented on this in the forums I have reviewed.
2. For swimming it won't alert you based on a preset lap count. At times I lose track during a swim around lap 5 or 6 so I have to guess when I hit 10. I look at the clock and guess based on past performance where I might be at.
3. The band will twist on you and the device could fall out. If that happens you will either have to swim for it or double back when you here "Moov is disconnected" in your head set.
4. Doesn't track you when running stairs. With bad weather I run the stairs in my building and would like to know my stats.
5. Doesn't track pushups, crunches etc... as well as I would like. I do 10 pushups and it counts 8 or 3. Not sure how it counts any but it does from time to time.
6. slippery when not in the band

The pros are:
1. Light weight, compact, you can forget you have it on your ankle when walking or running, or your wrist when swimming
2. Battery life is long and the app tells you when it's low.
3. Has nice color choices
4. The band is comfortable
5. Many features for a low price
6. The data it collects on swimming is good
7. The coaching system is good, sounds like GLADOS. It can keep you on track with its prompts and encouraging quips. e.g. "You are 10 meters behind a girl", "keep moving and we'll get through this" etc... (is it sexist if the AI is girl telling you you're behind a girl?)
8. Nice price for the features you get.
9.Don't have to plug it in to charge or download data
Final analysis
I would recommend this to someone who isn't a triathlete but wants motivation to workout and get/stay in shape.
I would recommend this to someone who has a Garmin on their bike and hear rate monitor but doesn't really need the wiz bang of another device on their wrist
