In reply to <a href="https://www.chipin.com/loudest-bluetooth-speaker/#comment-156">Adam Lukasiewicz</a>.

Hi Adam, it's always hard to conclude an article like this with the loudest bluetooth speaker, as people want to know the loudest based on their budget and requirements. Nevertheless, you asked, so we try to help.

At the recent IFA in Berlin we talked to all the exhibiting speaker companies and tested the latest speakers. We were really impressed with the Teufel Rockster, which came in with an impressive 113db (and will be added and reviewed shortly), but the overall winner for loudest Bluetooth Speaker was the Soundboks 2, with an ear shattering 119db. Unfortunately the price is quite high, but we will try to get our hands on one to review it in more detail later this year. Hope that helps.

It just kills me when editors/writers dont make a stand and put their opinion out there...which one do YOU think is the loudest Bluetooth speaker on the market?? Here is my situation, i work in a woodshop that contains a fair amount of background noise and currently we use an old Milwaukee josite radio. Nice and loud and fills the noisy environment with music that can be heard. I want a Bluetooth speaker so i can use my phone and the millions of songs I have access to eithout having to count on a radio station DJ to pick the music i am in the mood for, not to count the fact that Philadelphia does not have a hard rock/heavy metal station anyway. So my wife tries to help and bought me a $200 altec lansing speaker, i use it as a paperweight to hold my blueprints down so the fan doesn't blow them away, enough said about this particular AL speaker. I purchased the $300 Fugoo XL because its IPX7 rated and the dust won't hurt it. If i stay within 20 feet, its a good speaker for standing at my bench. However I NEED to stop spending money on speakers i hope will be loud enough and finally buy one that is kick ass loud and has enough volume behind it to fill the shop like the old Milwaukee jobsite radio we are using. Please just tell me, Which Bluetooth speaker is the loudest?? I am not going to be using it to hear all the fine details of a Pink Floyd song i need it to fill a loud already noisy space with some upbeat rock and metal to get through the work day. So whats the deal, which speaker has enough balls to do the job?

The Phantom Gold is phenomenal. It is top of the line Hi Fi kitted out with Bluetooth. Should we pay so much for a Bluetooth speaker or go the route of traditional speakers in this case?
