Nanoleaf Rhythm Music Visualizer – Transforms Sound into Psychedelic Displays of Light

Nanoleaf Rhythm Music Visualizer

Released last year, the Nanoleaf Aurora changed the way the world experiences light with its inspired design and intuitive customizations. Now, the Rhythm and Remote upgrades add a multi-sensory experience to the Aurora journey.

Launching globally this October, the Aurora Rhythm is an add-on module that transforms your Aurora light panels into a dancing symphony of color and light. The Rhythm makes it possible to experience sound as a visual artwork, remastering your music into brilliant animations. With gorgeous color displays created by your personal playlist, the Rhythm takes you on a sensory adventure that’s personalized just for you.

How Does it Work?

The Aurora Rhythm is a small sound module that plugs into any Aurora panel. Its built-in audio sensor automatically picks up on sound, transforming them into melodic light shows. Full customization of Rhythm Scenes (animations) can be made directly in the Nanoleaf App. As a bonus, you get to be a part of the online Nanoleaf community to share, download and vote for your favorite scenes right in the ‘Discover’ section of the new App.

Each Rhythm Scene reacts to sound in a different way, and will work with varying genres of music from pop to classical and r&b to edm. The Rhythm comes with eight preset Scenes, and can be personalized with your own color selections.
Control the Rhythm in three ways. Customize Rhythm scenes using the App, activate Scenes with your voice (Siri, Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant), or manually toggle through Scenes with the physical button on the Rhythm.

Nanoleaf Remote

Forget the buttons, swiping or voice commands – grab the Nanoleaf Remote to instantly change your room’s ambience. The sleek dodecahedron shaped remote offers seamless control with the twist of your fingers or turn of your palm: change animations, adjust brightness and more. Personalize your Remote’s control settings with your personal selections.

Fully Immersive Experience of Sound

“Adding the Aurora Rhythm music visualizer was the natural next step for Nanoleaf,“ states Gimmy Chu, CEO and Co-Founder of Nanoleaf. “We’ve received an overwhelming response from our customers to have a music visualizer for the Aurora. Visuals play an incredible part in how we experience the world, but our senses extend so much further than that. Sound, along with sight, is one of the most interactive senses we have. We’re very excited to debut the Aurora Rhythm at IFA 2017, to create a fully immersive experience of sight and sound and push the possibilities of self-expression.”
